The bottom station of the Matterhorn Express is only 3 minutes walk away and there is a bus stop right next to the house. A wide selection of bars, shops, restaurants and banks are in the town centre which is a just 5 minutes walk. From the train station it takes 8 minutes to walk or a short and comfortable cab ride to get to the house.

How to get there
Once you’ve arrived in Zermatt you can reach the house with a 8 minutes walk from the station. A lot more convenient and recommendable is it to use an electric taxi which will get you there in 5 minutes. The House Sonnheim is on a central and quiet location in the Zen Stecken area.
The ski bus stop is only 100 meters from the house, and the valley station of the Matterhorn Paradise ski area is only approx. 200 meters away. You have a choice of various restaurants and sporting goods stores in the immediate vicinity, as well as a grocery store and an indoor swimming pool. You can get to the Bahnhofstraße, Zermatt's main shopping street, with all its shops, restaurants and bars, in 8 minutes on foot.
